Truck-covered van collision kills 2 in Sirajganj

 

At least two people were killed in a collision between a truck and a covered van in Khalkula Bazar area of Tarash upazila in Sirajganj on Sunday (November 2). 

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place on the Hatikurul-Bonpara highway at early hours when the vehicles were trying to overtake one another.

Hatikurul Highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur Nabi Prodhan confirmed the matter.

The bodies were sent to Sirajganj Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
