Obaidul to be taken to Singapore this afternoon

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, who diagnosed with heart blocks, will be taken to Singapore for better treatment on Sunday afternoon.

Senior Public Relation Officer Abu Naser of Roads and Highways Division confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

He said that Obaidul Quader will be taken to outside of the country after Prime Minister’s consent.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital’s Head of Cardiology Prof Syed Ali Ahsan said, “Three blocks have been found in his heart. It cannot be said that his condition is better now. After 72 hours we can say something about his condition.”



Earlier, Obaidul Quader was hospitalized as he fell ill on Sunday morning.
