3 Bangladeshis killed in Bahrain road accident


Three Bangladeshis were killed and another was injured when a private car collided with another vehicle in Bahrain.


Two of the deceased were identified as Sujon Matobbor of Dakshin Doubledia Kazi Kandi village in Jazira upazila of Shariatpur and KM Ruhul Rabbi of Mandirpur village in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria. 


According to Bangladesh Embassy there, the accident occurred around 3:00am (local time) when the Bangladeshis were returning to Manama, the capital of Bahrain, from a beach.


They went to visit the beach on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the embassy said. 


Critically injured Md Rubel of Sreepur Bazar in Chandpur's Haziganj upazila is undergoing treatment at a hospital.


The bodies have been kept at Salmaniya Medical Complex morgue.


Bangladesh Embassy will extend all out support for sending the bodies to Bangladesh on emergency basis, the embassy said.
