Do not go outside homes: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) De Benazir Ahmed has requested all not to go outside their homes except emergency cases amid an eight-day all-out lockdown starting from tomorrow (April 14) across the country.

“Do not leave your homes amid all-out lockdown. In case of emergency purposes, anybody can avail police pass. For this, one will have to apply online to avail of this police pass. Then one will be issued the police pass on completion of necessary scrutiny,” he said.

The IGP said this while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a mobile phone app called ‘Movement Pass’ at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital on Tuesday (April 13).
