20000 workers stuck, operation of middle east-bound flights demanded

Association of Travel Agent of Bangladesh (ATAB) has demanded the operation of required flights under special management to send back around 20,000 middle east-bound expatriate workers who were stuck in the country due to the ongoing lockdown to their workplace.

To this end, the organization has sought interventions from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The association’s president Mansur Ahmed Kamal made the demand at a press conference at the Sagar-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) on Tuesday (April 13).
