Modi pays tribute to Bangabandhu in Tungipara

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Gopalganj.

He paid the homage by placing wreaths at the grave of the Father of the Nation in Tungipara on Saturday (March 27).

Earlier, the Indian Premier arrived Tungipara at 11:21am on Saturday. Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took him to Bangabandhu's mausoleum complex.

Narendra Modi prayered for salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family members. Then, he visited Bangabandhu's mausoleum complex and planted a sapling there. Later, Modi signed visitors’ book.
