BGB deployed across country

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country following clashes over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.

BGB's Operations Director Lieutenant Colonel Fayzur Rahman said, BGB patrolling has been started across the country since Friday night (March 26).

He said, the troops will work on the ground with other forces to maintain law and order.

Earlier on Friday night, in a press coronavirus Hefazat-e-Islam called a dawn to dusk hartal across the country for Sunday and announced a countrywide protest.
