Two sisters at HC to ensure their rights

 

Mushfiqur and Mobashera, nieces of musician Ferdous Wahid, have come to the High Court to ensure their father Mostafa Jaglul Wahid's right to stay in Gulshan.

Earlier on October 26, the High Court directed the two nieces of musician Ferdous Wahid to enter their father's house without delay.


Justice said the court on holiday. The High Court bench of Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Ahmed Sohail passed the order on its own motion. That night Gulshan police handed them over to their father's house.


The court asked the OC of Gulshan Police Station to appear before the High Court on November 3 along with her two daughters and Anju Kapoor, who was staying at the house.


Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik said that according to media reports, Mostafa Jaglul Wahid's house is on about 10 kathas of land. After the landlord's death, his two daughters took up position in front of the house due to a dispute over ownership. The two sisters claim that the house is in the hands of their father's second wife Anju Kapoor. He is not allowing them to enter the house at all. Mostafa Jaglul Wahid died on 10 October. Mostafa Jaglul Wahid was the pilot. None of his siblings are in Bangladesh except musician Ferdous Wahid. Mushfiqa and Mobashera, two daughters of Mostafa Jaglul Wahid, took position in front of the house for two days. They tried to enter the house but failed.


Mushfiqa told the media that her parents started their family in that house in Gulshan in 1984. Two sisters were also born in this house. Their parents divorced in 2005. Later, their father married an Indian woman named Anju Kapoor. Anju Kapoor is now occupying this house.
