11 more deaths, 1034 fresh positive cases from Covid-19

11 more people died of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, taking the number of deaths to 239 in the country.

Besides, 1034 more people tested positive for Covid-19 over the same period, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 15,691.

Prof Dr  Nasima Sultana, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), disclosed the latest figures of deaths and infections in the daily online bulletin of DGHS on coronavirus situation in Dhaka on Monday (May 11).

“We've carried out tests on 7,208 samples collected from across the country and 1034 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. The total number of infections has risen to 15,691,” she said.
