HC orders withdrawal of N’ganj Sadar OC

The High Court on Monday ordered withdrawal of the officer-in-charge of Narayanganj Sadar police station for getting involve with Yaba recovery incident. 

The HC bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman passed the order.

According to the case statement, DB police recovered 50,000 pieces of Yaba pills and Tk 5 lakh from residence of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Mohammad Sarwardi on March 7, 2018. A case was filed in this regard.



Later, the police member Assaduzzaman and ASI Sarwardi said that they released some drug accused taking the Yaba pills and money according to the direction of Sadar police station OC.
