Maritime ports asked to hoist signal 3
Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no three due to a depression over North-West Bay and adjoining area.
A Met office bulletin on Tuesday said that it is likely to intensify further and move in a North/North-Westerly direction.
Squally weather is likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh.
It is advised that all fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
